Other celebrities contributing to this gala event are Gregory Peck, Lou Rawls, Frederico Fellini, Ingmar Bergman, David Lean, Akira Kurosawa, John Schlesinger, Franco Zeffirelli, Billy Wilder, Mike Nichols, Sergei Bonarchuk, Glen Campbell, Conrad Hall, George Jessel, Arthur Rubinstein, B.J. Thomas. Frank Sinatra presents a special Oscar award to Cary Grant. Additional stars on this telecast include Gig Young, the Sandpipers, Michel Legrand & Maggie Smith.
