Voices in The Headlines was an American news program broadcast on ABC radio featuring the top news stories of the day. It was hosted by long-time radio and television announcer Fred Foy. CBS correspondent George Herman moderated the program from 1969 until September 1983 when he was replaced by Lesley Stahl. Bob Schieffer took over as moderator in 1991. Eventually, the panel of interviewers was dropped in favor of the program host conducting interviews of all guests. Guest: Dr.Benjamin Spock, accused by President Johnson of the betrayal of the American people for his anti-Vietnam war movements. Martin Agronsky is the host.
