His only tools are his energetic dedication and enthusiastic idealism. The obstacles are Army red tape, "military necessity" and the people's dark memories of the Fascist past. TV adaptation by Roger O. Hirson ("The Outpost," "Don't Go Upstairs"). Producer-director: Mel Ferber.
