Telephone conversation, September 4, 2008, by Phil Gries with Jonathan Winters when he was 82 years old and Phil Gries was 65 years old. Jonathan stated to me, "You are just a kid!".
This 53 minute telephone conversation occurred seven days before Jonathan and his wife Eileen would celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. She would pass away, four months later, January 11, 2009. Jonathan would pass away at age 87 on April 11, 2013.
