June 15, 1969-September 7, 1969; December 17, 1969-July 13, 1971 (CBS); 1971-1992 (Syndicated). "Hee Haw" was a fast-paced mixture of songs, skits, blackouts, and corny jokes. A syndicated version of the show appeared; by 1977 it was the nation's number-one-rated non-network show. The series was co-hosted by Buck Owens and Roy Clark (by the late 1980s, Owens and Clark appeared only occasionally, having made room for various guest hosts). A large stable of regular performers have been featured, including Louis M. ("Grandpa") Jones, Junior Samples, Jeannine Riley, Lulu Roman, David Akeman ("Stringbean"), Sherry Miles, Lisa Todd, Minnie Pearl, Gordie Tapp, Diana Scott, Cathy Baker and Barbi Benton.

Julie recreates some of her iconic roles including Mary Poppins, Eliza Doolittle, and Queen Guinevere. Music includes:
"I Want to be Happy," "Wouldn't it be Loverly?" and "Chim Chim Charer-ee."

February 1, 1976-August 29, 1977. This was "The Sonny & Cher Show Awards Show" broadcast. In 1976, Sonny Bono and Cher were reunited in "The Sonny & Cher Show." Regulars included Ted Zeigler, Shields and Yarnell, Billy Van, and Gailard Sartain.   

Sonny and Cher spoof themselves in the "The Sonny & Cher  Awards Show," presenting highlights-and low points-of the season. Included, the Overacting Award with guest nominees and Chastity's Nepotism Award. Also: a segment of Cher singing tributes to costume designer Bob Mackie and the show's songwriters.

This was the series premiere.             

A sequel to the November 8, 1976 Special broadcast, DEAN MARTIN'S RED HOT SCANDALS OF 1926.

Comedy highlights include a look at jazz-age college life; a speakeasy sketch; a takeoff on silent movies; and impersonations by Winters of various celebrities of the era.  



                        

This special spotlights up and coming performers including the rock group Stallion, basketball player Ann Meyers, comedians, Richard Lewis, and Steve Bluestein.
