News events of the day. Fire and explosions aboard the US aircraft carrier Enterprise. Twenty-five crewmen are killed. Three Russian Cosmonauts are launched into orbit near the 0ne-man craft launched yesterday.           

President Johnson says fighting in Vietnam likely to continue during peace talks, Eight-day strike against the Associated Press ends.
