"The Apartment" took the award for best picture, Elizabeth Taylor won the best actress award for her performance in "Butterfield 8", Best actor award went to Burt Lancaster for "Elmer Gantry," Billy Wilder won best director award for "The Apartment," and Shirley Jones took best supporting actress for "Elmer Gantry."
