Six of LeRoy's directed motion pictures are seen in clips discussed by the director with anecdotes. They include, Little Caesar, I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang, They Won't Forget, Waterloo Bridge, Blossoms in the Dust, and Wizard of Oz. Other interesting memories by Mervyn LeRoy include his remembrance when directing a screen test of newcomer Clark Gable and the studio's dissention was that his "ears are too large."
